Base and Field Stations
Carlson's SafeTCOM™ is a Wireless phone, intercom, and public address system specially designed for outdoor industrial facility and campus public safety applications. The SafeTCOM™ radio system includes a base station with up to 32 CO lines and up to 16 field stations (CPEs) each equipped with up to two phone lines (fax/modem), amplified public address (PA) output, intercom/paging, and/or Ethernet data. Carlson's TrueTDM™ technology assures carrier class quality and complete interoperability with VoIP and legacy TDM systems while also meeting all 911 compatibility requirements. SafeTCOM™ connects directly to all standard phone, fax, PA, and VoIP equipment and is available in unlicensed frequencies 2.4, 5.4, and 5.8 GHz as well as the licensed public safety 4.9 GHz band. Wireless links extend up to 30 miles. Optional high speed data upgrades are also available.

Flexible and Programmable
The SafeTCOM™ is bench or field programmable through a local or remote access Network Management System.
Advantages Over Wireline
The SafeTCOM™ provides network quality service without the wireline hard costs and problems with inaccessible areas. SafeTCOM™ CPEs can be easily relocated and reconfigured to adapt to changes in work environment.
Remote Monitoring
The SafeTCOM™ system can be monitored remotely via a local or remote access Network Management System by internet and telephone modem. The system can be easily configured so that system managers can be notified or paged if there is a disruption in service.
Easy Installation
CPE terminals mount on a 1"-2.25" pipe or wall and use an external antenna. The multipoint base station mounts into a standard 19" rack.
Rugged & Weatherproof
All Carlson components are built to industrial grade standards. CPE terminals are housed in a NEMA 4x waterproof enclosure, built to last in tough climates. Class 1 Div 1 enclosures are also available.
Solar Powerable
SafeTCOM™ base station and CPE terminals require minimal power and accept any DC voltage from 12V to 24V. Solar power kits available with up to 7 days of backup power.
